Our Mission
ProductWorld’s mission is to create a collaborative software platform to enable companies to simply and quickly create, manage, share, link, retrieve and publish information about their products & services.
Our Platform
The ProductWorld platform is a web based architecture, designed to integrate with other web services and to open up its services to other applications in a secure manner. These services can be exposed via our API. The API uses a REST-like interface. This means that ProductWorld method calls are made over the internet by sending HTTP GET or POST requests to the ProductWorld API REST server. Nearly any computer language can be used to communicate over HTTP with the REST server.
The Semantic Web
ProductWorld leverages the Semantic Web and has created a solution and a technology that makes a companies’ product information accessible using natural language; interconnected across content owners and domains and usable by software agents. These abilities are integrated with techniques borrowed from social networking which enable simple collaboration and management.
Although a start-up, ProductWorld has 5 applications in development which use the platform. They are a variety of applications which address real issues for businesses and include iInternet applications for both mobile and fixed platforms.
