Cork City Enterprise Board was established in 1993 by the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Mr. Ruari Quinn, T.D.
The function of the Cork City Enterprise Board is to develop economic and entrepreneurial activity in Cork city and county. The Board is a limited company by guarantee and comprises three staff members and a Board of Directors. Funding for the Board is provided by the Irish Government and European Union structural funds.
The Cork City Enterprise Board has contributed to the successful development of ProductWorld and has provided an investment in the form of a convertible redeemable perference share.
