An Italian company, ROAL offers high tech lighting solutions for the next generation high efficiency LED based lighting.
ROAL recently introduced a range of standard product solutions for solid state lighting and introduced a world-wide third party sales network comprising 500 sales people. In order to support the sles process, ROAL was looking for a mechanism to improve the product search function of their website. Specifically the sales and marketing team were looking for ways to assist customers to select the correct products, to collapse the products search time and to reduce the sales cycle.
In addition ROAL was looking for ways to put its product catalog into the hands of over 500 sales people and numerous customers world-wide using mobile phone technologies.
Using its patent pending technology, ProductWorld created a unique online product search tool and related customised iPhone app for ROAL. Using the same cloud based data source, ROAL's iPhone catalog app and website search support the objectives of the company's sales and marketing teams whilst improving access to their products for their customers.
